Help and Buying Guides


At Tigris Toys we like to keep things simple. All our prices are in GBP Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the current rate. We deliver to most parts of the UK for FREE, however, for delivery to Northern Ireland, UK Islands and the Highlands we’ll need to a charge a little more. We'll display the total cost of your order once you've added your delivery address during checkout. There are no nasty surprises in our pricing.

Making a purchase online

Shopping with us is as easy as 123:

  1. Find the item you'd like to purchase, and click 'add to basket'
  2. Once you've finished shopping, click 'proceed to checkout'
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions. We'll ask you for your personal and address details, and a telephone number in case of courier queries. You'll be able to select a payment method and complete your order via our secure payment server.

Ordering over the telephone

Prefer to place your order over the telephone? No problem! Just have your credit or debit card ready and give us a ring on 01242 808 375.

Ways to pay

If you're ordering online, you can pay by credit or debit card (we accept all major U.K. cards) or by PayPal. If you prefer to order over the 'phone, you'll need to pay by credit or debit card only.

After you place your order

As soon as you've finished checkout, we'll send you an e-mail confirming the details of your order with your very own order ID at the top. You'll need this if you contact us for any reason, so please keep it safe! All the other nitty gritty – exactly what you've ordered, how you've chosen to pay, the grand total of your order and your personal details – will be confirmed here so do check through and let us know if there's anything not quite right.


Item you want not in stock? Never fear. As long as it's coming back, you'll be able to pre-order it and as soon as it arrives at our warehouse, we'll send it straight off to you. Need it by a particular date? Check the estimated date of arrival and make sure there'll be enough time. DON'T FORGET: You'll need to pay for your item before it's reserved for you!

Shipping and Handling

We know you'll be excited to receive your order, so we aim to deliver it as fast as we possibly can. That means all orders received before 3pm on normal Mondays to Fridays will be shipped the very same day, and should be with you the next working day (that's any day between Monday and Friday which is not a public holiday in the U.K.). For the mainland UK we don't charge extra for this – it's all part of our commitment to providing you with first-class service.

For delivery to Northern Ireland, UK Islands and the Highlands we’ll need to a charge a little more and it may take a little longer due to the location. If we need to charge you extra we’ll let you know during checkout.

We'll always do our best to get your order to you double quick, but occasionally there might be a delay we can't control. That's why all the dates we give are estimated. This sort of thing is really rare, but it is more likely during festive seasons and periods of bad weather, so we recommend that you place orders for important events (such as Christmas or birthdays) as far in advance as possible. If a delay does happen, we'll let you know as soon as we can, and we'll help you to make sure the order is delivered as soon as possible.
